Yellow Brick Road ♡

Hello! Back with a food post. Went to Yellow Brick Road at Jalan Batai for brunch with the girls. Last meet up with Rylin before she goes to UK.

Initially we decided to go VCR but sadly we couldn't find any parking so we changed location and ended up at Yellow Brick Road.

We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes before we got a table. I think it was quite fast since it was lunch hour.

At first we were seated at a smaller table, but we switched table not long after.

So here's what we ordered

The Big Breakfast Bash

Scrambled Eggs, Turkey Ham, Chicken Sausage served with Mixed beans, Hashbrown, Sweet Potato, Vine Tomatoes & Toasted Bread

Posh Fries

Truffle Fries with Pecorino Cheese Sauce

Peter Pandan

Pandan Infused pancakes topped w/ Caramelised & Fresh Jackfruit, Salted Caramel Ice Cream & Gula Melaka sauce

I Wanna Be Kaya

French Toast w/ Poached Pear, Coconut Mascarpone Sauce & Caramel Kaya Sauce topped with Mixed Nuts

We waited for the french toast before we started digging in lol

Everything was so good. The portion was generous so it's good for sharing. My favourite was the pancake and french toast.

Birthday Surprise x Favola

Helloooooo, it's been so long since I've last updated my blog. But since this is my birthday month, so I've decided to blog a bit before the month ends :)

So, I thought it was suppose to be a dinner to get together and catch up on everything since we haven't met for ages! But they did a little surprise at the end with the cake and gifts (touched)

So dinner was at an Italian Retaurant - Favola, Le Meridien Hotel

We were deciding for about 20 minutes and waited for the waitress for around 30 minutes!
We were quite annoyed because of the long wait

Here's what we had for dinner

This was mine. For the pasta, you can choose the type of pasta of your choice!

Funghi

Gamberetti al Pinoli
prawns, chilli, garlic, parsley, pine nuts and mushrooms in extra virgin olive oil

Lasagna al Forno

beef bolognese layered with fresh pasta, cheese crust and truffle oil

Vongole
jumbo clams with garlic flakes, olive oil and garlic

Salmon Trout
pink peppercorn and pistachio crust with tapenade cream sauce

Also, we ordered a pizza for sharing

Favola
spinach, feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and basil sauce

Food portion was very big so you can opt for sharing with your friends and family

Love the girlfriends for the early surprise and also the gifts. To many more birthday celebrations with them

In conclusion, it was a night well spent with girls, will cherish our friendship forever and ever

And also, finally 21, getting old :((((

Italian & Desserts

(Throwback Post) Meet up with Rylin and Callie who flew back for a short period for CNY. We walked around looking for new places to dine at. In the end, we had lunch at Fatto a Mano and then headed to Jaslyn Cakes for desserts.

Fatto A Mano means 'made by hand' in Italian.

Didn't manage to take many pictures because I guess we were too hungry lol. We had Italian Baked Eggs, Toast All' Uovo & Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. An eggy and porky lunch!
