Brunch!

Another food post for the month. Went to Publika with my L class buddies, Zhi Le and Lee Yee and Callie for brunch. Decided to go to Red Beanbag for brunch since the three of us L buddies haven't been there before. Actually they were worried that there won't be breakfast menu at that time (around 12pm) but I checked and their breakfast menu is available until 3 pm so you can still have their yummy breakfast for lunch!

Zhi Le and me

Finally got to go out with her after so long!

Lee Yee and Callie

They were actually sitting at the table next to us to take a picture because we sat at a poor lighting area. But we sat near the toilet. Lee Yee forgot to bring her phone hence we could not take pictures with her phone. Instead she used mine to take pictures of the place.

What we ordered:

RBB's Eggs Atlantic

Poached Eggs with hollandaise, spinach, mushroom and smoked salmon, with two pieces of fluffy French Toasted Bread

Across: RBB's Eggs Benedict

Poached eggs with hollandaise, spinach, mushrooms & streaky turkey ham on two pieces of French-toasted bread

Classic French Toast

Coated with almonds, served with strawberry and banana & maple syrup

Maple Syrup with Banana and Strawberry

Happy with my brekkie

Polka Dot Long Sleeve Top from H & M

The breakfast was delicious. Callie and I shared the french toast and Eggs Atlantic. Lee Yee had Eggs Atlantic and Le had Eggs benedict. Loved the Egg's Atlantic and the french toast was quite special because there were almonds on the bread. Everyone was so full after the meal cause of the EGG-cellent meal!

Have you guys wondered why we didn't order any drinks or beverages?
That's because we went to another place for coffee!

Coffee Stain!

But we took quite long finding for the place. Checked foursquare, asked the people there and still couldn't find it. Then finally we found it after like 20 minutes. Lee Yee almost wanted to give up and drive back!

Different types of coffee bean

Teddy Bear Coffee art for Zhi Le

Totoro for our Mocha

Yellow cups for us again!

At first we asked for Rilakkuma, but then she didn't know what it was so we went for Totoro. Still very nice!

Vintage Cameras

Then we went to this shop selling antique classic vintage items. I think we were not suppose to take any  pictures, but one or two pictures wont kill.

Last shot of the day taken in the toilet, hahaha!

Will blog again soon. Now back to studies!

A short blog post on what I did for Leo this week.
Last Sunday on the 10th of March 2013, there was an event called 'Run for Sight'. It was held in conjunction with World Glaucoma Week. Our Leo Club, Leo Club of Metro MCKL also went to help out with the event. For this event, two participants are in a team. One participant gets blindfolded and the other leads the friend. They had to be leaded for 5 km around the Central Park in One Utama. Apparently the event ended quite early, the fastest team to end didn't take more than 15 minutes! However, I didn't manage to snap any pictures of the event because we went to the car park area to help out with something else.

The members that were there that day

Also the students of Subang utama took up the challenge to break the Guinness World of Records. There were 118 students altogether and they were all blindfolded and had to walk together in line. And guess what? They managed to break the record!! (throws confetti)

The students preparing themselves for the the challenge!

Full of cheers and smiley faces after the event!

That's our banner right there

The Metro Leo Clubs that were there as well

And the day before this event, I attended the Leo Club of Berjaya UCH Installation, part of our Metro family. It was held in Berjaya University. Their installation was a success and their food was very good! Great hospitality from them! Hope to have more projects with the newly installed Leo members

Although it was quite tiring, but it was fun meeting new people and having fun as a Leo member.
