Italian & Desserts

(Throwback Post) Meet up with Rylin and Callie who flew back for a short period for CNY. We walked around looking for new places to dine at. In the end, we had lunch at Fatto a Mano and then headed to Jaslyn Cakes for desserts. 

Fatto A Mano means 'made by hand' in Italian.

Didn't manage to take many pictures because I guess we were too hungry lol. We had Italian Baked Eggs, Toast All' Uovo & Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. An eggy and porky lunch!

After our Italian lunch, we headed to Jaslyn Cakes

Spoiled by all the choices, we finally ordered :

Also we ordered tea. Chamomile for Callie and Rooibos with Vanilla

The Front Door

Another food post! Finally had a chance to try the toasts at The Front Door. Went there before CNY where everybody's still busy shopping.

Watch out for this to get to the front door

Here's the Toast Selection. We ordered set of 5 slices (RM25)

Ordered The Tapping Tapir soda in Hibiscus & Lime

There are other flavours to choose from as well

And a cuppa latte

The latte wasn't as good as expected but the soda was good!

And our TOASTS!

We ordered: (From Left to Right)

No 6: Green Apple, Mozzarella, Almonds, Salted Caramel

No 4: Cream cheese, Cucumber, Smoked Salmon, Capers

No 5: Pesto, Grilled Chicken, Caramelized Orange

No 10: Peanut Butter & Caramelized Banana

No 9: Cream Cheese, Sliced Avocado & Fried Egg

 

My favourite pick is the Green Apple Toast. 

Although the combination may sound weird, it actually tasted quite good.  There are still other toast and savouries so do try of it when you go to Petaling Street

Will go try other toasts if I go there again

Also, got myself a new Phone case that shines like stars when there's an incoming call
