Bangkok Day 2

Second day, time for SHOPPING

Woke up early and dress up and ready to go for breakfast.

Callie and my ootd for shopping that day.

So, we walked our way to the place for breakfast. On the way, we bought pomegranate juice!

So we headed off for chicken rice. But there were 2 chicken rice shops on the same row. One was the pink chicken rice shop and the other was the green chicken rice shop.
We chose to go to the PINK one.

Us and our chicken rice
The chicken rice was I think 30 Baht. It's really cheap but the portion is a little small. So I was still hungry. So we just walked and then we saw the Toast Shop that Callie's mum recommended.

Sugar + Butter Toast and Kaya Toast
Yums!

Thai Iced Tea
Too sweet for me!

Then we walked to Platinum Mall, which was nearby. Unfortunately, it was too early so the shops were just opening. There were 2 Malls, Platinum 1 and Platinum 2. Both of these malls are wholesale retailers. Since it was still early, we went to McD and took pictures!

After all the pictures, we entered the mall. We explored Platinum 1 first, which was the building with clothes and accessories. There were so many shops on one floor. So we shopped floor by floor. And then we also went to the last floor, acessories. Also, lunch at Platinum food court.

We only bought this because it looked nice.

Then, continued shopping. And we took another break when our legs were super tired. We went to Swenson's for ice cream!

Bangkok Day 1

Blogging this is pretty late because this trip was during September. Nevertheless, I'll still blog about it :) So actually I wasn't suppose to go on this trip but a few weeks before the trip, my mum suddenly allowed me to go to Bangkok with the bestie, Callie. I was so happy but the ticket to BKK was kind of expensive.

Around a week before the flight, I received a message that our flight was cancelled!!! Then i received an email from Air Asia saying that my flight was delayed to 11++ pm, means one day will be wasted! So Callie and her sister went to talk to Air Asia and our flight was changed to earlier in the afternoon and our return flight was postponed to a later time (means more time for shopping in bkk). Now for the first and second day of the trip:

On the 27th of September, my dad drove me to Callie's house cause we'll be taking taxi to LCCT. Also, Callie's cousin, Joann will be going to Bangkok too. So we then took the taxi to LCCT. We went there earlier because Joann had to check in at the counter. Our seats were very far apart, especially for Joann who checked in later. I was seated at Row A, so unexpected, lol.

When we reached, we bought our token for the train that will take us to the station nearest to the hotel from the airport itself.

When we reached our station, we carried our luggage and walked our way to our hotel, which was Citin Pratunam Hotel. Along our way there, we saw many stalls selling all kinds of things ranging from food, clothes, bags, accessories, juices and many more. We quickly checked into the hotel and then we came out. A really good thing about the hotel was it had WI-FI, so when we reached hotel, quickly check Whatsapp, Twitter and Insta and others. Unfortunately it started to rain as soon as we came out of the hotel.

So then we decided to go for seafood as we can't possibly go anywhere with this bad weather. Callie's mum suggested to go to Somboon Seafood for their curry crab. However on the way there, we were cheated by the taxi driver and also another owner of the restaurant which claimed that they were Somboon but the restaurant was actually Somboondee Seafood Restaurant. Luckily we have not sat down and took our orders yet or else it would have been too late. So we left the place, but then it was raining so heavily outside and there were no taxis coming into the place. I had an umbrella with me  so Callie and I went out first and we went to the train station nearby. All four of us were soaked wet -.-

Then we took another cab and this time we reached the right place.
