Food Diary: Coffee Stain by Joseph

Decided to do a short food post to keep my blog alive. Have been busy studying and preparing for my tests and that explains why I haven't been updating these days.

Actually we have always wanted to go for latte art together but end up we'll be too full or we'll have no time for it. So this time we got to try and we went to Coffee Stain by Joseph at Fahrenheit 88. It's located at Parkamaya, the top floor. So we went for a short coffee break before going for our Lou Sang that night.

We both ordered different drinks, Mocha for me and Flat White for Callie.

Oreo Cheesecake

Oreo Cheesecake is Fahrenheit branch's bestseller so we decided to order a slice.

The mocha was good and the cake was yummy, not too sweet for me. Definitely a great place for chilling out. Can't wait to try out their other drinks and food. Also the  next visit, I'll request for a specific latte art :)

If you guys are unaware, there are 2 branches. One in Fahrenheit and another in Publika.

For more info, check out their FB page :

团圆饭 2013

It's Chinese New Year!! Everyone's favourite time of the year, also mine of course! So for this year, CNY falls on the 10th of February. So on the 9th will be reunion dinner with the fam. Reunion dinner or 团圆饭 is always held on the eve of Chinese New Year where all members of the family gather to have a meal together.

So as for my family, we always have our reunion meal in the afternoon and at night. We'll have lunch with my dad's side and at night will be with my mum's side. So I'll start off with my reunion lunch. Every year, my grandma and mum will cook for reunion dinner instead of going out to eat, it's like a family tradition. This year, there's something special for our meal which was Pun Choi, also known as Big Bowl Feast. My mum's first time trying to cook this dish and looks like she succeeded.

Our homecooked Pun choy. Abalone, Prawn, Button Mushrooms, Pork, Chicken topped with Abalone Sauce. Super yums.

Meatballs

Steamed Fish

Fried Prawn

Roast Duck

Pork Soup (Dunno the name of this)

Iced Longan Drink for Dessert

Didn't manage to snap a picture of our family because everyone was already feasting when the food was served. So just pictures of food. And for the night's dinner, also food pictures only. For reunion dinner, we had a potluck-ish dinner. My mum cooked the mushroom chicken, pun choi and also bought roast duck. Spicy dishes for the night!

Stir-fried Veggie

Chili Yong Tau Foo - Super super Spicy

Fried Fish - all of our favourite!

Vietnamese dish: Spicy Pork and Egg

Also, something sweet for the night. Cupcake from Bisou.

Will blog about the rest of my CNY in another blog post!

Get more Ang Paos and more luck in gambling!!

Cheers!

Bangkok Day 3 & 4

Super late post about my trip last year in Bangkok. I'll just combine these two days together. Day 3, we headed to Chatuchak market that is only opened on Saturdays and Sundays.

Day 3 #ootd with our bunny hairties!

It was quite early so we walked along the streets and had street noodles for light breakfast.

After the light brekkie, we took a cab to Chatuchak

So when we first got into Chatuchak, we already bought a few printed tees from a shop. I bought an owl and Peace tee while Callie bought owl tees for her fam.
