Sunday Afternoon Tea

Hellooooo! Back with a food post. Met up with bunny Rylin last Sunday after soooooo long. Since we both never tried TWG afternoon tea before, we decided to go for it.

Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm. We went at about 3pm and luckily there wasn't a crowd. Upon ordering, we had a super long tea list consisting of about 8 pages! We didn't know which tea to choose from so we ask for recommendations from the waiter.

Eventually we ordered the Fortune Tea Set which consists of warm toasted sandwich of your choice, freshly baked scones/muffins served with TWG jelly and clotted cream, 3 macarons and a pot of tea
(RM55)

We also ordered another pot of tea. We both wanted floral tea so the waiter recommended some to us. Crimson Tea for Rylin and Silk Water Tea for me.

Luxurious Gold teapot. Tea is not refillable btw.

Three tier afternoon tea

Third tier: TWG Tea Croque Monsieur

Turkey Ham & French Gruyere Cheese Toasted Sandwiches served with delicate green salad
The sandwich was good! Thumbs up for the sandwich!

Second tier: Scones

Served with TWG jelly and clotted cream

We don't really fancy the scones and we feel that the jelly was a bit too hard. Miss Ellie's scones are still my No 1 favourite.

First Tier: Tea Infused Macarons

Bain de Roses, Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate, Napoleon Tea & Caramel

There are 10 flavours in total sold at RM5 each:

Bain de Roses Tea (My Fav)
Matcha
Napoleon Tea & Caramel
Camelot Tea & Praline
Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate
1837 Black Tea & Blackcurrant
Moroccan Mint Tea
Lemon Bush Tea
Grand Wedding Tea with Passion Fruit & Coconut
Vanilla Bourbon Tea & Kaya

We totally forgot to selfie, just took pictures of the food lol. After we finished, there was a line forming at TWG so we left after an hour plus. Overall the food was good but I feel that the tables are too close to each other.

Till next time :)
