A Memorable December

It was suppose to be a study month but.. too many activities and outings :( Just a short post about what I did for this month.

So early December, my sister and I attended the very first Leo I.R Camp. It was from 7.12.12 to 9.12.12 at MCKL. The camp was really fun although I didn't get enough sleep and despite having swollen eyes the whole 3 days in camp. It was my first time celebrating for Leo Day after being a Leo for 3 years. I really enjoyed parading around Little India with all the campers. Met a lot of new people and learned a lot from this camp.

Captain America taking picture with the public. Captain America is my group name btw.

Captain America won!! Meryl and I weren't in the picture because there were not enough goodie bags

Then also went to Bukit Tinggi. Blog post here

On 21st, I had high tea with the besties, Callie, Celes and Steph. Steph will be leaving for UK very soon so we decided to spend more time with her. So we met at Pav for Ah Boys to Men. Quite funny movie about Singapore's National Service. Then off to KLCC for high tea at Cafe Vienna.

The high tea set that consist of cakes, sandwich and scones

Also, 21st was Winter Solstice. My family prepared steamboat for dinner. Also, tong yuen is a must for this festival.

Added winter effect to it too

Then 25th is Christmas but didn't go anywhere because parents were in Hatyai so just stayed at home with my siblings.

Then, one last lunch with Steph a day before she flies. Supposedly we decided to go for Steamboat near Taman Maluri for dinner but then last minute changed to Sukiya for lunch instead. Luckily still almost everyone could make it. Ms Leong couldnt make it too because she had meeting.

Sukiyaki and Miso Soup

Beef and Lamb Meat

Green Tea and Chocolate Ice Cream with coco crunch (fake), cereal and chocoflakes

All for this princess, Steph

Steph forgot to bring her piano black so no instant pictures. Luckily Fred has Iphone 5 so we used his camera. Front camera is clearer than Iphone 4S -.-

Yuun and Fred

The two guys wore same colour top too

After that we sat at the stairway and kept taking pictures

This was the first shot. Steph's arms looked a bit weird so we took another shot

Yuun's shoes are same colour as the carpet.

Camwhore :D

Funny weird faces except for Yuun, he's smiling happily!

Last last pic before she leaves :(

This should be the last time going out and meeting with Steph and Fred since both are flying back to UK. Couldn't send them off at the airport because exams are coming and my parents won't let. It's Steph's first year in UK, hopefully she'll get used to living there and best of luck for her studies!

These are the major events that happened in December. I went to try new places to eat also, but I won't be blogging it now. Didn't get to go out with Summer and Lee Yee this month :(

Also, no more time for blogging, Edexcel exam is super soon and I feel unprepared :(  So I won't be blogging till February. But I will start blogging after the stressful month is over. Praying hard that 2013 will be a good year ahead with more happiness and fun, less sorrow and stress!

2013 Let's Do This!!

Colmar Tropicale x Japanese Village

On Monday (171212) mummy decided to go to Bukit Tinggi to visit the french village that is pretty famous. Mummy only decided to go on that morning itself so we couldn't and didn't have time to prepare also, just brought our camera along with us. Also, we went together with my two aunts and their kids.

The road trip was around 40 minutes drive from my place. But then we had to drive the loops up the hill. I really hate loops and rounding up the hill, it makes me really dizzy. Unlike my sister and brother, they were enjoying it and feeling the breeze outside the window. Oh, and the window was winded down because we were going uphill, and my mum was afraid that our car couldn't go up. So when we reach the place, we paid for our tickets first. RM 12 for adults and RM 8 for children. Then we parked the car and started walking up the stairs to go up to the Japanese Village

The waterfall at the village

The few flowers that I took pictures of in the botanical. There weren't much nice flowers and there were mosquitoes everywhere, so we didn't walk there for too long.

Outside a Japanese Style House. There are japanese traditional costumes that can be rented and you can wear it when you are exploring the Japanese Village. There are sizes for young ones and for adults as well. I forgot about the pricing though but there were quite a lot of people who rented and walked around in kimonos.

The brother, Marcus

The brother doesn't like to take pictures.

Mummy and her sisters

(P.S the pictures at the Japanese Village were taken using filter that's why there's a blurry effect on the sides)

So after about 40 minutes walking at the Japanese Village, we decided to go to Colmar Tropicale, which was like a french village. Colmar Tropicale was on the other side, so we had to drive there. Luckily, it wasn't very far and there were plenty of car park there.

The view when we came out from the carpark

The two horses that have malaysian cultures painted on them

These two horses had a carriage behind them

Took picture with the kids that day

There's one like this is Korea, the one where Running Man was filmed. My mum went there too, but she said Malaysia's one is nicer but much smaller compared to Korea's one. The place is quite small actually but the buildings are all well designed and decorated. There is also a hotel where you can stay and experience staying a foreign country. when we went, there were quite a lot of people there. There were also arcades, painting, mini games and cafes there. Also, there are games that are found in Genting. Fishing a duck and throwing a coin mini games but I didn't see anyone playing it.

Then, lunch at Le Poulet Roti

One Quarter Chicken with BBQ sauce served with potato salad and baked rice

One quarter chicken with black pepper sauce served with mashed potato and tuna pasta

Hotdog with Fries

Pineapple and Mango Juice

For food, it's a bit pricey because it's like a tourist attraction so everything also higher priced.

Also, there were 2 white and 2 black swans there.
