It's APRIL! Another month or so to Edexcels and I'm super unprepared! Time is flying super fast, after edexcels, most of my friends will be going UK or US for their studies while I'm taking a gap year. Mainly because I've not decided what I want to do for my future and I want a break from all these stress and studying. But back to the topic, I didn't blog about these in March so I'll update everything in this post. Gonna be a long post..
LIVE | EVIL...
was our theme for I.R this year. I.R stands for International Relationship if you don't know. It's our Leo Club's first time having this big event. All the members in the Leo club were involve in this project.
Entrance Ticket
The dresscode for the event was alter ego but everyone ended up with formal attire. Dresses for the ladies and suits for the men.
Badges as ticket
Roses as decoration
The members painted them, red, black and purple roses.
The dancers
Creepy make up with thick liner, long false lashes and bright red lip stick. Also, black and white for the dance. Hair untied, so when we danced, hair flips here and there and gets stuck to the falsies #badluck
The actors
The three muskateers
Funniest part of the night according to everyone. After this part, when the stage curtains are pulled, one of the members didn't turn off the mic went 'Maaaadaa'. Most epic part of the show.
Piano performance
Both of them were super good!
Singing and Guitar Performance by Shaun Yong
O.M.Galz
Highlight of the I.R Night. We invited them to dance for the event. They were super god in dancing (compared to us)
With the Lions after the event
Overall the event was a success and we will be donating part of the money earned to the National Kidney Foundation.
Funniest Outfit of the Night: Kang Woon in Pajamas
Breakkie Success
So we have small breakfast group created quite long ago on Whatsapp with Vic, Callie, Celes and I. And every time we plan to have breakfast on weekdays before our classes start... always gets cancelled last minute. And another problem we always face is 'WHERE ?!' So this time we've decided to go to Antipodean, Bangsar. Unexpectedly, this time everyone could make it! Callie picked me up from KL Sentral and we arrived at Bangsar before 8 am.
The menu that's written/printed on the wall. I think that the idea of only having the menu on the wall is not a good concept because the customers would have difficult and long time deciding their order. Those that are dining outside will also have to go inside the shop to decide what to dine.
Flowers and Sugar
Just taking pictures of stuff on the table while waiting for Vic and Celes
Mochacino for the both of us
Heart Shaped Latte Art
The two were so late. We waited for almost half an hour for them.
The only picture we took on that day
Big Breakfast
Toast, Chicken Sausage, Mushroom, Scrambled Eggs and Hashbrown
Croissant Scrambled Eggs w/ Bacon
After breakfast, straight away rushed back to college. We were like 15 minutes late for class but at least it was the first successful breakfast plan.
Next plan: Dim Sum
Wedding
Attended Mr. Naresh's wedding with the high school friends. We attended the prayer for the wedding. First time attending an Indian prayer. We were so happy for Mr Naresh!
Dresses for the Night
A blur picture of the four of us
Tidbits
Mr Naresh and his wife. He's smiling so happily.
Set up for the prayer
I had to leave early so I couldn't have a try on the Indian food that was served. But it was a new experience for me.
Others..
Did some cool experiments with transition metal in the lab
Lastly, got a Shelliemay from mum's friend
One more week to my BANGKOK getaway
*excited*
